CESA 7 will have an opening for a Vision Specialist - 50% FTE for the 2024-2025 school year. Orientation and mobility is part of the educational process that prepares students with a visual impairment to travel independently.
The successful candidate will have:
The successful candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of orientation and travel skills from preschool through high school in the school and community settings including mobility devices, long cane, public transportation, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant technology
- The ability to travel between sites on a daily basis
- Flexibility
- Effective communication solutions to complex problems.
