As the Superintendent, you will demonstrate the qualities of a visionary leader, fostering relationships and trust across the district with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, school board members, parents, and community stakeholders. You will spearhead the development and execution of a robust framework dedicated to fostering the continuous improvement of our educational services. Your leadership will be instrumental in propelling the district toward success, ensuring a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that prioritizes growth, excellence, and student achievement. The ideal candidate will: ●Understand the unique opportunities of a rural school district ●Be passionate and relentless in the pursuit of meeting the needs of all students ●Successfully engage stakeholders in designing and implementing a vision for excellence ●Have a track record of success as demonstrated in the following areas: ●Curriculum, assessment, and instruction ●Budget design, alignment, and analysis ●Human resources leadership ●Facilities management ●Creating and sustaining a positive school culture ●Advanced degree in education and at least three years in an educational leadership role The Valders Community: The Valders Area School District is located in the Village of Valders and serves roughly 970 students in grades PK-12. The Village of Valders has a population of 961 and is located in central Manitowoc County. The Valders Area School District is a community compilation of Cato, Eaton, Liberty, Manitowoc Rapids, Newton, Rockland, Saint Nazianz, Valders, and Whitelaw.
